Dr. Asatur Chakmanyan, M.D., is a distinguished physician and emerging academic clinician whose professional journey reflects excellence in internal medicine, hematology, transfusion medicine, and medical education. Dr. Chakmanyan is currently pursuing residency training in Internal Medicine in Palm Springs, California, United States, where he is engaged in the care of complex hospitalized patients and participates actively in multidisciplinary clinical management at Desert Regional Medical Center. His ongoing postgraduate training in the United States reflects both his academic achievement and his dedication to professional growth within highly demanding medical environments.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with highest distinction from Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi in 2020 — an honor awarded in recognition of outstanding academic performance and scholarly excellence. Following graduation, he pursued advanced fellowship training in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking at the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, developing specialized expertise in immunohematology, blood product management, and the clinical application of transfusion medicine in patients with complex hematologic and oncologic needs.

He also served as an Emergency Physician at Ejmiatsin Medical Center, where he strengthened his clinical skill in urgent and emergent care settings.
